He attempted to get parole 12 times. The last hearing was on April 11, 2012. He did not attend many hearings after 1997. Along with that, he repeatedly violated rules. Also, he showed no remorse. Finally, Nikolas Schreck interviewed him in 1989. This was for the documentary “Charles Manson Superstar”.

Prison Life

A fellow inmate poured paint thinner on him in 1984. Then, he set him on fire. Moreover, he was moved between prisons. This was for his own safety. However, authorities found out that he was trafficking drugs in 1997. He recorded an album while he was in prison. It was titled “Completion”. The album has never been released. He stated that he was bisexual in 2013.

Moreover, he was engaged to Afton Elaine Burton in 2014. She was a 26-year-old woman. Also, he visited him often while he was in prison. They obtained a marriage license. However, the license expired in 2015. Along with that, the ceremony never happened. His life in prison included several strange incidents.

Death in 2017

The convict was hospitalized on January 1, 2017. He returned to the hospital on November 15, 2017. However, he died on November 19, 2017. The reason was cardiac arrest. He had colon cancer. His death started a legal battle over his body.
